How to add a Custom token to Metamask

(or any other Web3 enabled Ethereum wallet)

Adding a custom token

Aries Financial uses a number of non-standard Ethereum tokens for farming and staking.

In order for your Ethereum wallet to display these tokens inside your wallet you will need to "Add Custom Token" in your web3 wallet.

The following tutorial will use the most common web3 wallet 'Metamask'. For other wallets such as Trustwallet or Coinbase wallet the workflow is similar, but please refer to your wallets documentation.

In Aries we've simplified this process for you with our "Add Token" page.

Simply click on the "Add in Wallet" button corresponding to the token you wish to add to Metamask, in this case it's the afiUSD token. This will automatically pass the token info to Metamask.

The Metamask pop-up window should then display:

Now click the "Add Token" button to add the afiUSD token info to your Metamask wallet.

After completing this step, open Metamask and look in the "Assets" tab to see if 'afiUSD' token is displayed along with its balance.

Thats it! Now you can return to the Aries.Financial homepage or continue to add other tokens to your wallet.
