Requirements for Farming

Before beginning to farm on Aries, there are a number of prerequisites. The following instructions use Metamask wallet.

Requirements:

1. Connect to the internet and install Metamask wallet on Google Chrome browser (Or on your smartphone).

2. Obtain Ethereum (ETH) by exchanging fiat currency for ETH using a cryptocurrency exchange.

3. Obtain stablecoins such as USDC, USDC, DAI by exchanging ETH for stablecoins using a Decentralized exchange.

Steps:

The following instructions will show you how to withdraw ETH from Binance to Metamask and how to obtain stablecoins using Metamask from Uniswap.

Transfer ETH from CEX to Metamask:

Go to the Metamask homepage https://metamask.io and install the Metamask extension on your Chrome browser

open the Metamask extension and copy your wallet address by clicking on it:

Navigate to the "Withdraw" page on your Binance.com account and paste the address in to the appropriate field

Click "confirm" and carry out the necessary 2 factor authentication to proceed with the withdrawal. After a few minutes, your ETH should show up in your Metamask wallet.

Obtain stablecoins from Uniswap using Metamask:

Using chrome browser navigate to Uniswap DEX at https://app.uniswap.org/#/swap A Metamask popup will appear asking you to connect your metamask wallet to Uniswap, click "Connect" to let Uniswap view your account balances.

Next, Select the stablecoin you wish to exchange your ETH in to from the dropdown list on Uniswap, in the example we are selecting USDC:

After selecting the quantity of USDC you wish to purchase, click "Swap" and then confirm the metamask popups to swap ETH for USDC.

Uniswap is a decentralized exchange, all transactions are carried out on the Ethereum blockchain and take a varying length of time according to the 'Gas price' of your transaction.

When your swap transaction is confirmed, your USDC balance will appear in your Metamask wallet. Return to the Aries.Financial Farming page and you will see your balance reflected in the user interface:

You are now ready to begin Farming using your stablecoins.

Please remember: It is recommended to use at least $1500 of stablecoins for farming and you will need to retain some ETH in your metamask wallet to pay for gas when depositing to, and withdrawing from the farms.
